Misty McDivitt, 22, walked into the Croghan Carryout Sept. 19 and handed the clerk a note, informing him she was robbing him, she wanted the money in the register and she had a weapon.

But the clerk refused, told her she was on camera and pressed the holdup alarm.

Police caught McDivitt at a Monroe Street house and arrested her. She eventually admitted to police she attempted the robbery because she needed money for heroin.

She is set to be sentenced Jan. 31, and faces up to five years in prison, according to Sandusky County court records.
