Gregory Crayton, 46, 1800 block Fifth St., was charged with one count of animal cruelty.

The Erie County Dog Warden and prosecutor agreed to file charges on Crayton after a neighbor reported his dog was left outside without adequate food, shelter or water on Nov. 18, the report said.

Officers were called back to Crayton’s home at 10 a.m. Sunday, after someone reported Crayton’s dog was again left without food and water, the report said. Officers said the animal appeared cold, but was in overall good spirits.

They hauled Crayton off to the Erie County jail, where he was served his charge and released.

Here's your one (of many) mistreated animals that still trust humans after being abused. http://hendrickboards.com/save-ari If you still feel the same way after viewing this you need to find a heart. Companion animals rely on their caretakers for everything, just as children do; do you applaud child abusers as well? People should not mind their own business when it comes to the abuse of any living creature with fur...or without.

It was a STRAY and an extreme case. MYOB!

You have no heart or conscience. It is an extreme case, however, there are many others just like like it; this happens daily and is not an isolated incident. People just like you probably turning them out onto the streets without a second thought. These animals do not magically drop out of the sky from nowhere to live and starve to death on the streets. He belonged to someone at some point until he was put out on the street. Either you live a sheltered life or are completely devoid of compassion and are capable of the same actions. Maybe it was you your childhood dog bit for throwing rocks at it and not some neighborhood boy? If you don't like dogs move on to something else you do care about; it doesn't appear anyone else posting sees things your way either. How about you MYOB!

WHEN IS THE DOG GOING TO BE REMOVED FROM THIS ABUSE??????????
