Ashley Shaw, 20, was at a home in the 6400 block of County Road 205 near Bellevue, when she and her boyfriend got into an argument.

Shaw allegedly threatened suicide and picked up a screwdriver and tried to stab the man, according to a Sandusky County deputy’s report. The man knocked the tool away but not before Shaw ripped a hole in his jeans. She also tried to stab his truck tires, the report said.

Shaw told deputies the argument started because the man was taking her daughter from her. The man told deputies he decided to take the child to her grandmother’s after Shaw threatened suicide, the report said.

Deputies took Shaw to the emergency room in Bellevue, and when she was released she was taken to the Sandusky County jail.
