Despite those wishes, the man called Sandusky officers to a Cleveland Road hotel to check on the woman at about 6:30 p.m., according to a police report. The woman allegedly told her boyfriend three women began yelling at her as she walked down Pioneer Trail.

The women held her arm back, then cut it multiple times with an unknown object, the report said.

The woman told police one of her assailants punched her stomach, the report said. The woman said she passed out after the incident, then eventually made her way home, the report said.

Paramedics took her to Firelands Regional Medical Center, where she was treated for her injuries.
