Arielle Aldrich, 23, and Jeremy Robinson, 22, tried to sell heroin to a confidential informant from the Huron County Drug Task Force, Huron County Detective Josh Querin said.

The pair allegedly tried to sell the drugs near their home in the 1000 block of Myrtle Ave. in Willard.

“We conducted a search of the home after the buy took place, and it revealed all kinds of drug paraphernalia” Querin said.

Aldrich and Robinson’s 1-year-old child was in the home when deputies arrived. Aldrich was charged with heroin trafficking and heroin possession, while Robinson was charged with complicity to trafficking in heroin.

Detectives also charged Emery Sloan, 29, 4000 block of Weirs Road, with tampering with evidence and theft of drugs.

Querin declined to detail the circumstances of Sloan’s arrest — he said others could be charged in the ongoing investigation.
