Shortly before midnight, officers learned of a group of women arguing loudly in the 1000 block of W. Jefferson Street, according to a Sandusky police report.
Officers told the group to disperse, but Blount allegedly continued her turbulent behavior and kept trying to fight with another woman. Fisher, Farris, Wilson and Jones all tried to calm her down and hold her back, but Blount refused to leave the area, prompting her arrest, the report said.
Blount’s four friends again allegedly intervened and tried to stop officers from arresting Blount. In the process, they each landed disorderly conduct charges, the report said.
Blount continued causing problems — she resisted arrest and kicked an officer in the knee while he was putting her in his cruiser, the report said.
Fisher, Farris, Wilson and Jones were released after the incident, but Blount was taken to the Erie County jail.
