Man accused of sexually assaulting teen

A Bellevue man accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl remains behind bars.

Sandusky County detectives arrested Bradley McMahon, 42, 500 block Southwest St., on charges of sexual battery Wednesday, according to a deputy’s report.

Detectives received a tip about the alleged abuse Wednesday and, after a short investigation, they charged McMahon. Sexual battery is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison.

McMahon remained in the Sandusky County jail Friday on a $30,000 bond and is slated for a preliminary hearing in Bellevue Municipal Court Monday. Sandusky County Children Services assisted in the investigation.

And to think he was and auxiliary police officer for the city of Bellevue, like the Bellevue Police Department needs another blackeye. Who else do they have employed?
