Windon was arrested at about 6 p.m. at the Brass Pelican bar, after a person in the bar noticed he look quite like the suspect whose photo was posted on the Sandusky Register's website.

The photo, obtained from bank surveillance videos, showed a white man wearing a dark sweatshirt walking into US Bank branch at 1028 Cleveland Ave. at about 3 p.m. The man slid a bank teller a note — he did not display a weapon — and the teller handed him a large stack of cash.

The man then fled on foot. Police searched the area to no avail, until they got a call from the person at the bar hours later.

Windon did not put up a struggle when Perkins police approached him in the bar. According to Sandusky police Detective Dana Newell, Windon told officers, "You got me."

He still had the stack of money on him when he was arrested, Newell said. Windon also had a New York identification card on him, and he told police he had been living in the Clyde area.

Love the picture of him at the bank, and also leaving his finger prints on the counter. What a dope.

A bank robber walks into a bar, the bartender says, is that a stack of money in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?

Its sounding to me that he was looking to get caught so he could have three hots and a cot at the tax payers expense

This guy is a Real Pro!
