Beverly Eden, 32, who is homeless, was charged with theft, marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct intoxicated, while Brant Zanders, 33, 2200 block Cleveland Road, was charged with disorderly conduct intoxicated and possession of dangerous drugs.

Eden allegedly stole the vodka from a Cleveland Road gas station and took it across the street to a laundry facility, the report said. She allegedly stashed the bottle and a marijuana pipe behind a toilet in the facility’s bathroom. In her purse were eight prescription pills commonly used for asthma. Zanders took responsibility for the pills but said he had a prescription, the report said.

Both were taken to the Erie County jail and held overnight.
