Michael Dezotell, 33, of the 700 block of Meigs St., was charged with theft.

A husband and wife agreed to let Dezotell live with them in July, while he tried to get back on his feet after being homeless, a Sandusky police report said. On Monday, however, the woman noticed numerous video games, boxed DVD sets and other movies missing from the home. She immediately suspected Dezotell.

When officers interviewed Dezotell Tuesday, he initially said he was unsure of the items’ whereabouts. He later admitted to selling some of them over the past month, the report said, and he promised to recover the items. He also agreed to move out of the house.
