The incident and the events leading up to it landed the girl a slew of criminal charges, including assault on a police officer, harassment with bodily fluid, obstructing official business, resisting arrest, aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct.

The girl, of the 600 block of Taylor St., allegedly initiated a fight with a girl on Carr Street while four other girls recorded it, according to a Sandusky police report. The girl ran off when police arrived at the scene at about 7:45 p.m., sending them on a short-lived chase until she lay down on a front porch in the 1300 block of W. Monroe St.

There an officer attempted to handcuff the girl, but she refused to lift her hands from under her body, according to the report. Eventually police grabbed her arms and placed them in handcuffs. She then refused to stand up, going limp several times as police tried to escort her to a cruiser. She also refused to provide them her name.

Officers took her to the Erie County Juvenile Justice Center, where she remained uncooperative and initially refused to exit the cruiser, the report said.

“(She) said she was going to assault this officer once the hand restraints were removed,” Sandusky police Officer John Powell said in a report.

While Powell transferred the girl to the corrections officer inside the justice center, the girl kicked Powell in the left leg, prompting him to “take her to the ground,” according to the report. During the tussle, the girl tried to spit on Powell, who not seriously injured at any point, the report said.

What, no leg restraints? They should be in every cruiser along with spit shields.

You were never taught RESPECT??~Especially when it comes to LE!!

The majority of the young inner city kids have no respect for anyone let alone law enforcement and it usually starts with the lack of respect from the parents as well

Where the hell do you see anything about inner city

From the Grave

At least she didn't spit on someone's grave...

I regret the loss of the time when they could have just shot the hag and been done with it. We have trained them to know no fear nor respect.

Try to imagine what it will be like twenty years down the road .

Spit masks and leg shackles would have helped in this situation. Zip ties would have been even better. If you people think her behavior is bad you should see the kids I deal with on a weekly basis adjudicated in DYS. This girl sounds like a saint compared to are kids.

Her behavior is hurting not only her but her parent/parent's pockets. She is not going to have to pay the money for the fines, her parents will.

IMO I think if a kid runs amok, it's 50/50 responsibility between the parents and the children. When and if this girl ever gets a job, her paycheck should be garnished to pay for her share of the fines.

I doubt her parents will be paying for anything. Unless you are referring to taxpayers as her parents.

This girl will never have a job. She will expect society to take care of her...she is entitled to have things.

Well, she is a real winner. She has no respect for anyone. She probably learned that from her parents or other kids that she hangs out with. Either way she is now in a lot of trouble.

Just Sayin IMHO

Her future is looking very bleak. And I can't help but think that she is ok with that. But I bet she has twerking down to a science. Gonna be one heck of a stripper or hooker one day. Then her parents can be REALLY proud!

pathetic, she'll be pregnant in 1-2 years, let the entitlements begin....Oh, maybe they have begun already. This is a life style in motion.
