Perkins police are investigating a late-night robbery at Perkins Convenient Food Mart, where a masked man pointed a gun at the clerk and told her to hand over the money.
The suspect made off with a small sum of cash. He was described as a tall man wearing all black, and witnesses said he may have fled in a Dodge Charger or Challenger with racing stripes on the side.
Other witnesses reported hearing three to four shots fired as the man drove away, but police found no shell casings at the scene. The robbery happened at about 10 p.m. Friday. The store is in the 1900 block of E. Perkins Ave.
