A man accused of killing his girlfriend by stabbing her 34 times in the neck may plead insanity in his case.
Theodis Keys Jr., 33, appeared for a brief hearing in Erie County Common Pleas Court Tuesday with his attorney, public defender Jeff Whitacre.
Keys was arrested Oct. 17 when he turned himself into the sheriff's office, only hours after Lorie Miller's son discovered her body in the bathroom of her Follett Street home.

it will take that long to get a doctor to write a report on his sanity level. Remember how long it took to get the one on Randleman? How many times did they have to postpone before they got that one? And they took a plea anyway? Want to bet this goes as that one did?
insanity should not even be an option for somebody who murders another person, insane or not, they deserve to be put down for the heinous act

Somebody is messing with the camera's settings or the software to develop them. Not everyone has an egg/watermelon shaped head with no ears. It's the cops or the paper. Look at all the latest mug shots and tell me if I'm wrong.
Nobody tampered with anything ,he just has big jaw line, if he tilts his head down you can see his ears.

Looks like someone took a scissors and cut out his head. Then just pasted it on the shirt.
I believe they are taking the photos that way so it is easier to ID a person in their data base. They scan the criminals photo against 100s of mug shots/sec. It kicks out the ones that don't match the general shape of head,etc.... I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure it is the reason.

This is nothing more than a waste of taxpayer dollars prolonging the outcome of a guilty verdict. This is the same thing that happened when my friend was mudered in huron county almost 8 years ago. That idiot went through 2 pscycological evaluations...that we paid for...then decided to plead guilty when he couldn't fool the doctors. I am tired of these people getting more rights than the victims.

Stabbing someone 34 times is rage not insanity. The little trip to the hospital is going to do nothing for him. If he did this to try and convince everyone that he was insane, too bad, so sad, it ain't gonna work, Bub. If he had told them what he had done, the hospital would have called the police and he would have been arrested there. He wouldn't have been able to leave and then turn himself in.
