Businesses are encouraged to participate in the Walleye Festival’s Grand Parade, organized by the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
 
The festival — always the kickoff to the summer — is May 22-26.

It lures countless residents and tourists, and many businesses have benefited from participating in the festival’s parade in past years.

The parade, 1 p.m. May 24, begins at Port Clinton High School and heads west on 10th Street, then traveling down Madison Street and eventually back to the high school.
