Cedar Point is scheduling its own version of “Star Search”

Rather than selecting one elite performer, park executives want to scoop up as many talented superstars as possible for the upcoming season.

Executives recently announced plans to host auditions for numerous positions, including costume characters, karaoke hosts and even DJs.

Any person landing a summer job also receives numerous perks.

"In addition to gaining resumé-enhancing experience, Cedar Point employees enjoy a variety of benefits that no other summer job can offer, including free admission to Cedar Point and Soak City water park all summer long, low-cost housing, employee appreciation events, a rec center and much more,” the company states in a release.
