Inglis appointed senior VP of nursing
Suzanne Inglis, M.S.N., B.A., R.N., FACHE, was recently appointed senior vice president of Nursing at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
In her new role, Inglis administers and organizes the departments of nursing, sterile processing center, cardiovascular, oncology, pulmonary medicine and sleep center. Inglis establishes objectives for these departments and institutes the organizational structure for achieving these objectives.
She also coordinates the activities of all of the departments and nursing units while working closely with other departments to facilitate the optimum quality of care at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
During her 40-year career in nursing, Inglis served as assistant vice president of nursing at Fisher-Titus, managing cardiovascular services, surgical services, pulmonary medicine, wound healing and sleep medicine. She served in this role since 2009.
Inglis, of Marblehead, is board certified in health care management as an American College of Healthcare Executives Fellow. She has a master of science in nursing from the University of Phoenix, a bachelor of arts degree from The Ohio State University and a nursing diploma from Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing, Dayton.
Dr. Klassen joins Stefano Dental
Dr. Alexis Klassen will join the dental practice of Dr. Lata Stefano at Stefano Dental, 1617 W. Bogart Road, Suite 1, Sandusky. She is accepting new patients.
Kandell named Salesperson of Year
Russell Real Estate Services recently hosted its annual awards banquet in Westlake.
Mary Kandell was named Salesperson of the Year for the Sandusky office, with sales of $3.5 million. She also was chosen by her peers to receive the Newman Award for being the most helpful person in the office. Mary is in the top 5 percent of all selling agents in Russell Realty.
Wallace joins Quality Realty
David Wallace has joined the staff of RE/MAX Quality Realty’s Norwalk office, 226 Republic St.
Wallace, a lifelong Norwalk resident, has served as a firefighter, executive director of a nonprofit organization and as a city councilman. Wallace is looking forward to bringing his experience in “serving” to the business of real estate. He will serve Huron and Erie counties.
Aichholz certified as ME
Lisa Aichholz, APRN, BC, CNP with The Bellevue Hospital’s Occupational Health Center, was recently certified as a Medical Examiner on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.
Aichholz is authorized to provide medical examinations to commercial motor vehicle drivers in accordance with a new program through the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
After May 21, all CMV drivers who are required to be medically certified must be examined and certified by a medical examiner listed on the National Registry.
CMV drivers, motor carriers and the general public will be able to find Aichholz’s listing on the National Registry using geographic search criteria, or by a search of name or medical profession. Aichholz is the only medical examiner serving TBH.
As part of her certification, Aichholz must complete a required refresher course every five years and pass the Medical Examiner certification test every 10 years.
A resident of New Washington, Aicholz and her husband, David, have two children.
