FREMONT

The Fremont Community Theatre and Literary Society is proud to present its 54th season, entitled: "We're GOING GREEN ... from Sherwood Forest to The Emerald City."

The members of FCT's theater family are proud of the progress and success they've made for more than half a century, but are looking forward and setting even more ambitious goals for the future. As a tribute to the commitment of so many members working so diligently on show after show, attendance figures continue to climb steadily for the five main stage productions and the teen program each summer.

The 2009-10 season promises to bring music, laughter and an enjoyable evening at the theatre to an estimated 6,500 or more residents of Fremont and many surrounding communities.

The Fremont Community Theatre is striving to be "More than a STAGE in your life," with a youth theatre program in the formative stages, the premiere teen theatre program in the area and a growing number of active adult members from many surrounding areas. FCT is a place for all ages, all skills and all people.

Children can discover for the first time the talents within them that can form the basis of years of enjoyment through acting, dancing or expressing themselves in any number of artistic endeavors. The Teen Theatre program builds important social skills like communication, teamwork and good sportsmanship.

Countless friendships have been formed through FCT, and couples have met and even been married on the stage.

With a family-friendly atmosphere, the good- natured veterans of many years experience are always willing to welcome newcomers to the theater. After 54 years, FCT is still proving to be the place to learn, teach and perform while entertaining the community with the exciting gift of live theater.
