The Erie County Dog Pound features the following dogs available for adoption:

•Cinder – Five-year-old male cockapoo mix. Housebroken, neutered. Very sweet, best in quiet home with kids 12 and up. Available now.

•Bow – Two-year-old male coon hound mix. Housebroken, neutered. Very sweet, needs active home with strong leadership. Been in-and-out of shelter for a year. Available now.

•Ginger – Two-year-old housebroken Jack Russel mix. A little shy at first, until you play fetch with her. Available now.

•Jo – Four-year-old housebroken female beagle. Very sweet, needs to learn what love is. Available Friday at 7:30.

•Princess – Three-year-old female chih mix. Housebroken, very shy. Needs quiet adult home. Available now.

•Whisper – Two-year-old male Jack/poodle mix, housebroken. Very sweet, playful pup with lots of energy. Available now.

The Erie County Dog Pound, 2900 Columbus Ave., Perkins Township, is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10-10:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Call 419-627-7607. Adopting a dog costs $45, including license and first shots.
