I would like to express my feelings about the Electoral College, and how it should be replaced with the popular vote.

I believe that the popular vote should be used for presidential elections in the United States. This is because the Electoral College grants each state a value. The states that have smaller populations have a decreased chance of having a vote that counts because once the "important" states are won, the point values of the smaller states are too miniscule to bring the losing president into the lead. The popular vote would clearly be a more successful tactic for the United States to use.

My conclusion is that the Electoral College is a pathetic effort to choose the president of our country.
