We don't need anymore condos to stand empty in the city. Renovate city hall and forget the condos. The seniors who live at Harborview and Viewpoint want to see the waterfront. If you build more condos they will stay empty as most of the people in Sandusky can't afford them. What happened to the condos on West Washington Street, Krabill's condo on Water Street and the Rieger building? They are all empty.

What the city of Sandusky needs for the seniors mostly is a drug store and a Ben Franklin store downtown. If we had them, Sandusky would be a little brighter and bring us downtown.

I am appealing to the city manager and the commissioners to think about what I suggested. I think my idea would be cheaper and more profitable than empty condos would be. We also don't need out-of-towners (contractors) telling us what is good for Sandusky when they don't live here.

Put the proposal on the ballot like Mr. Crandall said. Let us tell you what we want for our city.
