Erie County Regional Planning Commission is trying to change the subdivision laws for Erie County, using safety as their agenda.

The problem is this change is going to create an enormous economic impact. It will affect property values, mortgages, tax revenue for schools, townships and counties, small businesses, contractors and water and sewer rates. The tax burden will shift to increased taxes for all. I could go on and on.

Township trustees have the means to control road access in a number of ways if they so choose. We don't need any more control from Erie County Regional Planning Commission. Contact your local township trustee and Erie County Commissioners for information, soon. These laws are on a fast timetable to be implemented.
