LETTER: Don't blame students; back levy

I am not a resident of Margaretta Township. I have grandchildren who attend the school. Whatever reason you have in voting down the school levy is your own personal business. Maybe you have something against the board, but the students didn't cause the problem. Remember, the board has to come up for re-election.

The students are a great bunch of kids and young adults. They are very proud of their school. All they are asking for is a good education so they can go out and face life's hardships. They have the choice to go on to college, attend a trade school or join the military where they could sacrifice their lives to protect us from our enemies.

I am retired and on a fixed income. I have grandchildren in Sandusky Schools. I support the school leviesp. Ohio won't do anything to fix the school problem. All they do is sit down in Columbus thinking of ways to make our lives more complicated.

When you go into the voting booth, go in with an open mind and a big heart.
