NORWALK

Detectives have solved Norwalk’s fetus mystery.

A now-deceased doctor owned the fetus found last week in a junkyard van and likely used it for teaching purposes, which is fairly common among the medical community, said Huron County Sheriff’s Capt. Ted Patrick.

It’s unknown to whom the fetus originally belonged, but it was likely the product of a miscarriage, Patrick said.
