LETTER: End the seal hunt

The annual brutal slaughter of baby seals in Canada is on its way. It's the largest slaughter of marine mammals on the planet. Last year more than 72,000 baby seals as young as 12 days old were clubbed and shot to death and some skinned alive. The Canadian government condones this massive killing of Harp seals.

The majority of Americans, Europeans and even Canadians strongly oppose the seal hunt.

Contact Canadian ambassador Gary Doer, letting him know you are opposed to this slaughter and boycott all Canadian seafood and fur products.
