The Erie County Dog Pound features the following dogs available for adoption:

•Amanda – Three-year-old female rott mix. Housebroken, very sweet girl. Loves to go for walks and play fetch. Se would prefer to be the only animal in the house. Please come see me, I've been here for two months! Available now.

•Blue Eyes – Three-year-old female husky mix. Housebroken, loves to play fetch. Very friendly with everyone. Available now.

•Spot – Four-year-old lhasa apso mix. Neutered and housebroken. Friendly and gentile. Would be better with kids 12 and up. Available now.

•Simon – One-year-old jack russell. Playful pup with lots of energy. Available now.

•Alvin – Three-year-old jack russell. Housebroken, friendly, attentive and calm. Available now.

•Skittles – Four-month-old boxer mix. Playful and spunky girl. Available Friday morning at 10:30.

•Sam – Ten-month-old male husky mix. Looking for active home and exercise companion. Available now.

•Fred – Three-year-old male fox terrier mix. Housebroken, a little on the shy side. Prefers women; adult home only. Available now.

•Harley – Eight-year-old male lab. Neutered, housebroken. Super-affectionate, loves to play with toys. Still active but very gentle. Available now.

The Erie County Dog Pound, 2900 Columbus Ave., Perkins Township, is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10-10:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Adopting a dog costs $45, including license and first shots. 419-627-7607.
