A recent letter writer asks (in response to a previous letter about not buying Asian-made cars -- ed.) "Should we not buy BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Audi?" No, we should not. We should not buy any car that sends the profit from these cars overseas. We are selling our country and heritage to maybe save a few dollars or get a couple miles to a gallon of gas better. A huge loss for a small gain! Look around in the Sandusky area. Remember when the "Big Three" was in the area?? Chrysler is gone, General Motors and Ford are up for sale.

I don't feel we Americans "hate" these other countries, we just want jobs making cars that keep the money in this country!

I would like to see the auto industry stay in this area!

A word to the schools in the area. When you need money for a levy, try asking these foreign companies to send some money for your schools, and see how they respond!

I would not buy any foreign products if I had the choice, but that's been taken away by corporate greed.

Something to think about!
