I see on TV these Republican senators and representatives say Americans don't want health care reform. That is absolutely untrue.

Many Americans desperately want this health care bill to pass. I truly believe this will help all Americans. President Obama is fighting for this health care reform bill, and we need to let these senators and representatives know we are with him. He is fighting for us. We need to let him know we are with him on this fight.

When you can't go to the doctor or hospital without incurring huge bills that can cost you for the rest of your life, you are afraid to go because you know you can't pay them. The cost of medical treatment is not only unreasonable, it is ridiculous. Minor tests can cost thousands of dollars. A stay in the hospital can cost thousands. Working families cannot afford to pay these costs.

The doctor bills are not the only ones you get. Specialists, lab fees, X-rays, consulting fees and hospital fees are out of sight.

For all our sakes let's get this reform passed. Don't let the insurance companies and the medical profession keep getting away with these costs.
