In response to a letter in the forum on Feb. 7: Opinions are fine and everyone has one, except when you impose on others as if yours is the only one that counts.

Your right to print your opinion was fought for and won by veterans. What gives you the right to set policy and rules in a veterans’ club? You never mentioned your discharge or being a veteran that earns you that right.

You should read your letter and ask yourself if it is you who is selfish. Stop trying to be a dictator in a country veterans fought for so that we aren’t ruled by a dictator. I have smoked for 22 years, but I’m not trying to take away the right to choose.
