Erie County Republican Women to host annual picnic

All are encouraged and welcomed to attend

The Erie County Republican Women have scheduled their annual picnic for 6 p.m. Aug. 20.

The gathering's scheduled at the Ohio Veterans Home's east pavilion shelter. Use the East Strub Road entrance and then turn left to reach this area.

Among the scheduled guests:

• William Batchelder, speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives.

The $12 catered picnic includes hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, condiments, iced tea, lemonade and desserts.

Actually the Republican Women's Club in Erie County is quite large. Can't say everyone there is Conservative, but it has grown since the mess in the WH.
