A man who was arrested early Sunday for allegedly brandishing a gun at a woman was slapped with two more charges later that night.

Travis Grant, 34, of the 1300 block of W. Larchmont Drive, was originally charged with weapons under disability and using weapons while intoxicated around 1 a.m. after a Lindsley Street woman said he took out a handgun and racked the slide while staring straight at her, according to a police report.

At the time, the woman did not want to pursue charges for herself, so Grant was only arrested on the weapons offenses.

But around 10 p.m. that night, the woman returned to the police station and said she'd changed her mind.

The woman said she was overwhelmed by the incident at the time, but felt Grant had indeed intended to cause her serious harm when he brandished the loaded weapon, the report said.

As a result, officers charged Grant with threat of domestic violence and aggravated menacing. He was served his charges in the Erie County jail and was held without bond.

Happiness is a warm fuzzy feeling.
Happiness is a warm gun.
