Shots were fired inside a Huron home earlier this month after a family dispute grew heated. All managed to escape injury.
Huron police were called to a Tiffin Avenue home July 6, just after 7 a.m., according to a Huron police report.
A 93-year-old man, who lives at the Tiffin Avenue home, had out-of-town family members visiting for the weekend, Huron police Chief Bob Lippert said.
At one point during the trip, the man and his relatives had discussed the prospect of him moving into an assisted living facility, and he had agreed. But later, it appeared he changed his mind.
The man fired four rounds from his 38-caliber revolver, Lippert said, but no one was hurt.
The man was ultimately taken to Firelands Regional Medical Center.
Lippert said charges are pending based on his medical treatment.
