25 years ago, 1989: Thee men were indicted for reaping huge profits by marketing heavily adulterated liquid as pure unsweetened orange juice for over 7 years. Bodine's Inc. of Chicago marketed a product containing 15-40 percent sugar and other ingredients including waste byproduct from a water distillation company as a frozen juice concentrate.

10 years ago, 2004: A Sandusky native, Eugene Sanders, was one of two top veteran educators being considered for the vacant superintendent's position in the Washington, D.C. school district. Sanders, 47, Toledo Public Schools' superintendent, was in Washington D.C. interviewing for the post.
