A Carroll Township family found a man's body washed ashore near Green Cove at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Ottawa County Sheriff Steve Levorchick said.

Authorities said the body is likely that of one of two men missing from a boating crash last month, but they have yet to confirm an identity. The body is being sent to the Lucas County coroner's office for an autopsy.

Bryan Huff, 32, of Rossford, and Andrew Rose, 33, have been missing since April 17, when their boat capsized or crashed in Lake Erie, off the Ottawa County shore. The bodies of two other people killed in the crash — Amy Santus, 33, of Perrysburg, and Paige Widmer, 16, of South Carolina — were found in the lake on the same day the group was reported missing.
