Clyde woman killed in 2-car crash

Judith Hansen, 69, died at University of Toledo Medical Center after she was flown from the accident at Ohio 19 and County Road in Green Creek Township. 

Alyson Johnson, 25, of Fremont, was nortbound on Ohio 19 when Hansen's vehicle struck hers.

Johnson was taken to Fremont Hospital with incapacitating injuries.

Talytha Elick, a passenger in Johnson's vehicle, was also taken to Fremont Hospital and later flown to the Toledo hospital.

Hansen was westbound on County Road 181 at about 7:20 a.m. today when she didn't stop at Ohio 19 and hit a 2004 Dodge Caravan being driven by Johnson, the Fremont Post of the Highway Patrol reported.

Both vehicles careened from the roadway after impact. Johnson's vehicle overturned and came to a rest on its side. 

All three women were wearing seat belts and alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation, the Patrol said.
