Clubs target youth for shooting course

The Oak Harbor Conservation Club, in cooperation with the Camp Perry Shooting Club, is conducting a shotgun shooting program for boys and girls ages 12 to 20.

All skill levels are encouraged to attend.

The first meeting in 7 p.m. Thursday at the Camp Perry Shooting Club, located on Camp Perry along Ohio 2, in Port Clinton. The program is every Thursday in May and costs $8.

The program covers basic firearm safety and marksmanship instruction.

Firearms and ammunition will be provided. Participants may use their own shotgun, however ammunition may not be available.
