Master Gardeners offer scholarship

The Erie County Master Gardeners Association is offering a scholarship to area students pursuing a college degree in a plant science program such as botany, horticulture, agriculture, forestry or landscaping.

To qualify, a student must be an Erie County resident or a graduate or graduating senior of an Erie County high school. They must also be working to obtain an associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Interested students can download an application from erie.osu.edu by clicking “4-H Youth Development” on the left column of the website. Under the “About 4-H” section, a “Scholarship Info” link will be available. Students are not required to be a 4-H member to be eligible for the scholarship.
