Westbound lanes "are" closed, not "is." It's no wonder people butcher the King's English when they talk around here.

I just told him to get a job! Geeeesh

That road ain't open no more, for a spell. There.
I like that the best!
When they *speak* around here.
"Talk" is actually correct in this instance.
Since there is only one westbound lane between Pipe St. and Milan Rd. on Perkins , "is" would have been correct . The use of 'lanes ' should have been singular .
I thought the same bluto!!
Can't we all just get a bong?
Get along, lol. I see what you did there.
What a day for a water main break. This terrible cold and those workers having to do this is not good. Stay warm guys !!!
They probably only make minimum wage too.
The sad thing is, is it's probably caused by the sub-zero temps. At least that's what I've been told...
Having moved from Sandusky, and living in Florida, we have 80 and sunny forecasted for the weekend. No snow shovels here!
You bragging or complaining?
Yeah, but it'll be 95 degrees and 100% humidity in a couple of months, and just as unbearable.
You are correct. Love Florida this time of year but come summer give me Ohio along the lake to live. We have humidity but not day after day and temps in the 90's .
Florida is only>Ohio... November-April. Then Ohio wins hands down.
I would say Oct-May. October here is usually cold and rainy, the same with May.
