He sustained severe internal injuries at about 9 p.m. Jan. 11 when he fell off a ladder while working at a grain silo at 4541 Dogtown Road, authorities said.
He was taken to the Cleveland hospital, where he remained until his death Monday.
Bischoff fell about 25 to 30 feet, said Tom Beck, fire chief at Huron River Joint Fire District.
“He was conscious and talking to our guys the whole time, but he was in extreme pain,” Beck said. “It was an unfortunate accident with a tragic ending. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family”
