Erie County offiicals issued a boil alert for the following areas:

• In Perkins Township for Erie County water customers on North and East Bayview lanes. The advisorsy is in effect through 6 p.m. Tuesday.

A boil advisory means you should boil your water for up to 2 minutes before consumption. Water can be used for showers, baths and flushing toilets. Brushing your teeth with water that has not been boiled is not recommented.

Should it be Perkins and not Pekrins?

Dang everyone is so nit picky

Just boil the dang water!

From the Grave

Or should you biol the water...

Wouldn't it be newsworthy to know why ?

Guess They think its not right for us to know why

Does it really matter why? I believe there was a water main break by Fitzgerald's subdivision.

Any clue where these subdivisions are located? (I live in Huron Township)

North and east Bayview are Fairview Lanes.

I went to the store to buy gallons of water, rather than boiling water. When should this be over?
