The boy, 13, 1500 block Prospect St., was charged with unruly juvenile and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

A woman received a phone call shortly after 11 p.m. from someone who saw her car — which no one was supposed to be driving — on Jackson Street, according to a Sandusky police report.

The woman soon learned the vehicle’s keys were missing, as were two boys who had been living in her home, the report said.

Before officers could locate the vehicle, both teenagers returned home in the missing car, the report said.

The boy was taken to the Erie County Detention Home.
