Matthew Miller, 27, 1000 block Wayne St., was charged with child endangering, assault and domestic violence.

At about 1 p.m., Miller and his child’s mother began arguing at her Polk Street home. Miller allegedly handed the 1-year-old girl to her mother, then slapped the woman across her face, the report said.

When officers questioned him, Miller said the woman disrespected him, and he “didn’t hit her that hard,” the report said. He was arrested and taken to the Erie County jail.

He sounds like a coward to me. Hand the child over to the mother and then hit her. It almost sounds like a hit and run !
