Authorities charged Michael E. Kennedy, 48, 4300 block Delematre Road, Monroeville, with domestic violence relating to an incident occurring at his home around 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Kennedy choked a 32-year-old woman inside his home, according to a sheriff’s report.

The incident reportedly occurred after the woman asked Kennedy why he didn’t hold a door open for her. When the two sat on Kennedy’s bed together, he allegedly yelled, “You’re done, (expletive). Wait until I get you on the floor.”

The woman said Kennedy put his arm around her neck and started choking her. She dialed 911 before almost passing out.

After the woman dialed 911, Kennedy ran away from the home.

Sheriff commanders couldn’t locate Kennedy.
