Sandusky police and firefighters rushed to West Monroe Street and Central Avenue at about 7 p.m. Thursday, after Clark’s truck rammed into a parked car and damaged a home in the 900 block of W. Monroe St.
Clark’s truck was headed west on Monroe Street at high speeds when it lost control, according to Alisha Cobb, who called police after witnessing the crash.
The truck struck an SUV parked on the south side of the street before crossing Central Avenue.
After it cleared the intersection, the truck drove off the north side of the road and slammed into a parked SUV in a driveway between two houses. The impact pushed the SUV into the porch of one home, causing significant damage.
Clark yelled as he was being loaded into an ambulance bound for Firelands Regional Medical Center. He was then flown to the Toledo hospital.
Officers said they suspect Clark was suffering from a medical issue when he crashed. A citation has not been issued.
