Joshua Holman, 20, 1400 block W. Madison St., was charged with fleeing and eluding, marijuana possession, obstructed view and driving under suspension.
A Sandusky officer saw Holman drive by while he was at the corner of First and Meigs streets, and learned his driver’s license was suspended, according to a police report.
The officer activated his cruiser’s lights at Erie Street, then activated his sirens at Lane Street, but Holman continued driving — at about 20 mph — as he held his index finger out the window, the report said.
Holman finally pulled his vehicle into the Cedar Point Commons parking lot, where the officer ordered him from the car at gunpoint, the report said.
Officers found some marijuana residue in the car’s glove box.
When they asked Holman why he didn’t pull over, he told them a friend told him he could not be arrested, nor have his car towed, if he pulled into a public place, the report said.
Officers told him he was incorrect, then charged him and released him on his own recognizance.
