Sprucing up Sandusky

They didn't have to go far to buy the paint for the sign.

Ian London paints the sign for the Sandusky Paint Company on Monday.

The Sandusky Paint Co. has been in the building since 1964. The building was formerly Gilbert Heating and the Kist Bottling Company.

The paint company, in business since 1927, moved to their current location following a fire at their original building on W. Market Street next to where Value City Furniture is now.

When London was asked where the paint was from to paint the sign, he jokingly said "Sherwin Williams."
