I am confused. A Truck drove into a house according to the title. A truck drove?
The driver of the truck suffered serious injuries and was taken from the home by an ambulance after he jumped from the truck before it slammed into the house according to Metro Fire crews and the witnesses at the scene.
Metro Fire Captain Ed Greer said "the driver was talking by the time he got to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but in a lot of pain."
There was a person on the back of the truck. The captain said he too jumped off before the truck hit the house and was uninjured.
Paul Nelson was the one person in the home about 30 feet from where the crash occurred. He was not injured.
Vanderbilt University Medical Center??? In Nashvile??
at least he tried to make the garage....
Metro fire crews? Vanderbilt university medical center? I think you may have the wrong information.
And I want to thank the Register staff for making the effort to at least mention an incident that is so distant from their regular area of coverage.
