Ottawa sheriff to up Halloween patrols

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office will increase patrols during Halloween, working overtime shifts from Oct. 25 to Nov. 1 to promote safer driving.

Deputies plan to focus on enforcing all traffic laws, with an emphasis on impaired driving.

The overtime is covered by a grant from the the state’s Highway Safety Office.

maybe they will catch some of those little hoodlums vandalizing and running through people's yards (but I doubt it).
