Kevin Barbar, 27, of Perrysburg, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence, failure to control and no seat belt.
Barbar was driving on Barrett Road at about 2 p.m. when his truck drifted at a curve in the road, according to an Erie County deputy’s report.
Barbar overcorrected at the turn, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The truck rolled completely over, then landed upright in a wooded area, the report said.
Barbar was partially ejected from his window and was unconscious when firefighters arrived, the report said.
When deputies later went to the hospital to serve Barbar his charges, staff were busy sewing his ear back on, the report said.
