Fall Fun Fest returns to Huron County Fairgrounds

The 17th Annual Fall Fun Fest will return from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wilson Building of the Huron County Fairgrounds, 940 Fair Road in Norwalk.

The kiddie tractor obstacle course will be back, and other activities will include a chili contest, making a craft bird feeder, decorating small pumpkins, making caterpillar magnets, making paper-plate pumpkins, climbing a straw pyramid, navigating a straw maze, getting a free book, making a character necklace, riding a wagon pulled by horses and handling snakes.

The Huron County Heritage Area will be open, with cookies from the bake oven and demonstrations from the sawmill, blacksmith, wood carver, broom maker and quilters.

The event is put together by volunteers from a number of organizations and agencies including the Huron County Fair Board, Huron County Farm Bureau, Huron County Commissioners, Huron County Heritage, Huron County Solid Waste District, Huron County General Health District and others.
