Man cited for OVI after rolling minivan on Ohio 61

A Norwalk man was cited for operating a vehicle under the influence after a rollover crash Sunday evening.

Filberto F. Samano, 41, crashed his Ford minivan on Ohio 61 when he was heading south, just south of Norwalk at 6:49 p.m., a dispatcher from the Norwalk post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

Samano was cited for failure to control, no operator’s license and operating a vehicle under the influence after he submitted to a breathalyzer test, with results of 0.191 percent blood-alcohol content.

The legal limit in Ohio is 0.08.

Samano has been previously cited for operating a vehicle under the influence.

 

   He was not injured in the crash.
